STOMACH CONTENTS, 2020
Stomach Contents was influenced by research regarding queer identity, specifically drawing on Adrienne Rich’s “Compulsory Heterosexuality and Lesbian Existence” and Audre Lorde’s Uses of the Erotic: The Erotic as Power. The work itself serves as documentation of my feelings regarding my relationship and bisexual identity from the point of view of my stomach, which is where I often find my emotions to feel the most apparent.
